Looking at this video now, I realize that most of my ideas have changed - I now make loop sandals with only one hole for the loops to come through, and no longer use the recycled tire flooring for soling, as it is not sufficiently durable. I like to use layers of car or truck tire inner tubes to make recycled soles. I invite you to visit my website http://simpleshoemaking.com/wp/ for information on my shoemaking books, kits, workshops, materials, and a blog focused on the simplest shoemaking techniques. I also invite you to "like" my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Simple-Shoemaking/122659024556516?ref=aymt_homepage_panel and follow my pinterest boards: https://www.pinterest.com/simpleshoemaker/shoes-and-other-things-to-inspire-the-making-of-si/, https://www.pinterest.com/simpleshoemaker/things-to-make-from-scraps-of-leather/, and https://www.pinterest.com/simpleshoemaker/shoes-and-sandals-i-have-made/ thanks!
